"Kangaroo Courting"

Kangaroo Courting (Mr. Magoo) Key Master Production Background Attributed to Bob McIntosh (UPA, 1954). This original screen-used Key Master background from the Mr. Magoo theatrical short Kangaroo Courting showcases the minimalist UPA cartoon style known for its limited animation approach. Hand-painted in gouache on a 12 field-size background board by renowned color stylist Robert "Bob" McIntosh (1916 - 2010), this piece includes a hand-painted 12 field cel depicting a table, chair, phonograph player, bottle, and book. We can see this background at the 2:55 mark.
